Challenge Grant

The Hearing and Speech Center has received a $15,000 challenge grant from Henry Mayo Newhall Foundation to support our early intervention program for families of children with hearing loss, FACES. A challenge grant means that once we raise a matching $15,000, the Newhall Foundation will grant $15,000 as well. Make a donation today to the FACES program and you’ll provide a family of a newly-diagnosed infant with support from a team of professionals from all the disciplines that will touch their child’s life.

The FACES program is in its third year of operation. FACES (Family, Audiologist, Counselor, Educator and Speech therapist) professionals help parents learn about their child’s needs and guides them in getting started as well as planning for the future.
