Holiday Giving

The Hearing and Speech Center is the #1 audiology provider for people on a limited income in San Francisco. Our doors are open to everyone using Medi-Cal or California Children’s Services state insurance, or who cannot afford services.

Two years ago, 60% of our clients were low income. This year 80% of our clients are low income. The community is turning to the Hearing and Speech Center because it is an organization that stands by its mission to help those in need.

You can help! We need each and every one of our supporters. Whether you can give a gift of one session with an audiologist or sponsor a month of school, we need our community to keep doing this important work.

Every time our staff works with a client, from the first phone call to programming a hearing aid, we are relying on community members like you.

Your gift makes a difference. For example:

$25 provides insurance guidance by phone

$100 allows us to provide a hearing aid check appointment

$500 provides three months of education and hearing aid care to seniors at a residence or center

$1,000 provides a speech and language evaluation and course of speech therapy for a child for three months

$2,500 provides staffing and facilities for our monthly tinnitus, hearing loss and Cochlear Implant support groups

$10,000 covers a semester scholarship in our Auditory-Oral School
